Question about iifym and fiber

I am following an IIFYM (if it first your macros) diet and according to IIFYM.com I should be consuming 220g carbs, 112g protein, 45g fat and 22-28g of fiber a day to get to my goal. If you look at my diary for yesterday for example, you can see I always go over my fiber by a lot. Do I subtract all of the fiber from my carb consumption? And if I do that, will I have to eat more carbs to hit the 220g goal? I am so confused with this whole net carb thing and how it applies to an iifym diet

I'd also like to know this. Also, please can someone tell me how I get fiber consumption into the desktop version of myfitness pal?

When I use the app on my phone I can see it there, but annoyingly not on the desktop version which is the more easily readable. All I have listed are Calories Carbs Fat Protein Sodium Sugar. Please can someone advise how I add fiber to the list displayed?

    Thank you kindly.

^^Remove 'sugar' (unless your diabetic or something) and replace it with 'fibre'.

OP, I *think* you're overcomplicating things. Did you hit your fibre? Yes? Gunshots. Did you hit your carbs? Yes? More gunshots.

No. Fiber still holds a caloric value of close to 2 calories and is considered part of your carbs (as is sugar as well). Aim to hit your fiber and your carbs and leave it at that, no deductions, no net crap. Fiber is not a free pass at extra cals.
