Skype workout buddy?

Has anyone ever heard of this or tried it? My mom offered the other day and although I really don't want to Skype-workout with my mom, it's kind of a cool idea..
I hate trying to find a workout buddy since most people are either way above my level on the amount/time they can workout or they don't want to do it. I don't know, maybe it's kinda dumb. Anybody have any thoughts...?

Yeah, I get that. I kind of do too. But not wanting to cancel on someone else has always made me more likely to go through with my workout. And it would be the same whether it were in person or online. I don't know. I just had a thought.0

I use www.liveexercise.com . You can exercise live if you watch the schedule or they tape all their live exercises for their archive. They have ALL kinds of exercises for ALL kinds of levels. You can get your first 14 days free and if you want to subscribe, it's $5.95/mo. Well worth it for me. I have been using it at least 5 times a week. It would be too hard to coordinate with others.0

I haven't actually done it but my best friend lives in the UK and we talked about it. Unfortunately, with the time difference it's not really an option with work etc. I think it's a great idea if you can coordinate it0

I also want to add that at 18-19 I'd imagine the relationship with your mom is starting to change, if it hasn't already, to move towards a more "friendly" and grown-up relationship than that of just mother-daughter. My mom will always be my mom, but as I've gone through my 20s she's also become a friend to me.
That being said, don't knock your mom out as a workout partner right away it could be more fun than you think0
