I've noticed that my midsection has gotten a lot more 'giggly' since loosing weight. I am strength training so why is this happening?

I thought this was a post about laughing and you didn't know why.0

LOL. I did too. As you lose, your fat cells shrink but don't go away. Since they are not jammed so tight against each other like an inflated balloon those areas are now looser and "jiggly".0

LOL! Silly commenters.... they're making me giggle so much that I'm starting to jiggle!
I wonder if maybe you're toning up everywhere else, so your midsection just appears more jiggly? Maybe do more ab exercises?0 -
Omg I meant to write jiggly!!! How embarrassing! :blushing:0

How can I get rid of it? Does it get better over time?0 -

I get giggly when I've had too much caffeine.
Losing weight without a progressive lifting routine makes you jiggly. As you lose weight, it's not just fat that goes away, but also lean muscle mass. I'm not sure what kind of exercise you've been doing, but lifting weights helps retain muscle mass, giving you that "harder" look when the fat melts away.0 -
Yes. It gets better over time. I get squishy sometimes then it goes away, and funny enough, it then looks like I've lost fat.0
