334 lb? No way!

Went to the doctor yesterday and stepped on the scale... 334 lb. :noway:
I knew I had put on a bit of weight over the winter but, Oh man... that's astronomical! Needless to say, I wasn't expecting that.
So yeah... here I am.
I'm a 34, artist/graphic designer from Southern Indiana. I love art. It's seriously, my life. I love paper and the color green and I am currently obsessed with taxidermy/macabre/curiosity shops. I dig piercings and tattoos, (current count 4 tattoos, 7 piercings [two of them @ 6g and two @ 10g]). I am Buddhist. I have 3 dogs and a cat and a wonderful hubby.
I've been chubby all my life. I've had self-image issues since puberty and at 25 I topped out at nearly 400lb (scales stopped registering my weight and I had to use a 'special' one at the doctor's office). I got down to 250 with the help of an amazing community but was derailed by love and a desk job. I met my husband in 2006 and started desk jockeying shortly there-after.
I've been slowly creeping up since.
My hubby isn't the best at motivational ata-boys. I think his exact words when I mentioned his lack of enthusiasm for the little bit of weight I lost the last time I tried was "I'm not your quit buddy." Blunt but honest.
So I guess I'm here for help, tips and support.
That's it in a nutshell. Thanks for reading!
Cheers!

Hi! I'm also an artist. What kind of work do you do? Mine is mostly portraits, and oil is my fave, but I do all kinds of other stuff like handmade books and graphic design (I do page layouts for a newspaper).
You're in the right place to do something about the weight. There's tons of information and lots of tools to help. Good luck!0 -
