That's when y'all come in i need motivation and inspiration, im new to this app and so far so good, I'm loving ittttttt. My friend introduced me to it and shoottt I was missing out lol. My current weight is 225lb the Heaviest I've ever been, my turn around point was climbing stairs was beginning to be a challenge, fast food was my best friend got hooked on it while attending school, breathing was louddddd. I told my friend about my weight struggle and she told me about this awsome app and I believed in it because my friend lost 30lb with fitness pal sooooo here I am trying it out. I'm on my third day and loving it. My goal is to lose 60lb by the end of the year with my current weight being 225 I think it's possible. Feel free to add me and advice is always appreciated.. :) and to all my people out their god bless and lets make it happen this is our year...... :)

60lb is a very ambitious goal considering how far into the year we are, but there are 8 months/32 weeks left (give or take) and it isn't impossible. Just be sure to do it healthily. Make sure you eat enough -- don't dip below 1200cal, and try to exercise a minimum of 3x/wk for roughly 30 minutes, even if it's just walking. Losing too fast means that you will lose muscle in addition to what you want to come off. Slow and steady is key. Try to focus on a 1-2lb loss every week.

Also bear in mind that building muscle may affect your scale results, so if you are seeing you body change positively but not seeing the scale move a lot, do not take that as a sign that you are failing.

Best of luck on your journey! Feel free to add me if you would like some additional support. :)

You can become the person on the outside that reflects who you are on the inside! Don't put a deadline on it. Slow. And. Steady. Feel free to add me if you need some support!
