Hello! I am looking for a workout that would be safe for someone like me. I have Primary Progressive MS. Along with it comes dizziness, muscle weakness in arms and legs, muscle spasms, disorientation, and difficulty walking. I tend to drop things and fall...ALOT. What are my workout options?

You might want to talk with a physical therapist or personal trainer familiar with working with people suffering from MS. They could come up with some suggestions that would be safe for you.0

One of my greatest inspirations is a very good friend of mine who has MS. After his first stroke he could barely walk on his own, much less do anything else.. It's now three years later and because of his dedication he lifts with me almost every other day and does rock wall exercises in his spare time. You will find stuff you can do, and the more you do the more you'll find! I wish you the best of luck!0 -
I have a huge amount of empathy for the everyday struggles an MS sufferer endures but I know that MS affects people in very different ways. e.g. I know a guy with MS who is a personal trainer. I certainly don't want to diminish your health issues but perhaps get someone to go with you to try all the things you want to and just see what you can do.
Swimming would be my recommendation to anyone wanting a lower impact workout, regardless of ability.0 -
Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas. I am home alone with my 3 young children, my oldest is 4, so I need something I can do with them. I just started injections for a more common type of MS since there is no treatment for my type but hopefully it eases some of my symptoms so I can trust myself to walk outside....My how I miss the outside lol0

I didn't review the exercises myself because I am not a fitness expert or medical professional. Talk to your physician to make sure you are doing what is safe for you. Good Luck!!!0
