Hi,
I have been doing myfitnesspal.com for the last 3 months (13th February 2014). I eat healthy, I work out at least 45 mn every day and I lost 1 kg!!??!!
Obviously there is something wrong and I don't know what or how to fix it.
I have deficiency in iron and vitamin D but I am taking treatment (since 3 days...)
Can anyone have a look at my food diary?
Thanks!!

Hi, that is a frustrating problem to have. I've been there. I went to your profile to check out your diary, but it is not viewable, so I have some questions for you to consider.
What is your calorie goal/day? Are you hitting that goal? You can still overeat on healthy food. What are your macro goals? A high protein diet goes a long way to increase fat lose.
You say you are exercising every day, that's great. What type of exercises are you doing (running, lifting weights, intervals, yoga)?
We really need more information about you to help.

I can't see your diary so the folowing suggestions are based on things that are *generally* responsible when *people* new-ish to mfp aren't loosing what they expect
weight loss happens when calories out >> calories in
most likely one or more of the following is responsible:
- you may be underestimating your intake (are you weighing?, are you checking the database entries you use?, are you logging cooking fats, fruits, snacks, alcohol, ....)
- you may be overestimating your excercise burn (if in doubt use several estimators: mfp, hrm, machine, endomondo, trackmyrun, ... and pick the lowest value)
- your target losses may be too high (based on your current weight and target weight - which i don't know) the ticker on your profile implies a 9kg drop goal, so a reasonable target rate may be 0.25 to 0.5kg/week
but 1kg over 12weeks is 83g/week so over the 12 week period on average you have *actually* been consuming and burning at an average deficit of 643 cal/week or 91 ca/day (calc based on 1Kilogram ~7,716)
if you are shorter and don't have so much to loose this could still be a reasonable loss rate
we can't see your diary unless you make it viewable0 -
