Heya,
So a little background. I was a terribly skinny child....like i got picked on for being so skinny, then puberty hit and thank god for competitive cheer leading. College brought on my freshmen 50.... I then moved to Louisiana and somehow lost 60lbs and got down to the best body I ever had. At this time I was living at home, working 4-6 hours a day at a gym and working out 2 hours a day. So when i move back to PA, got a full time job and bf the lbs started coming back. Now I'm i've gained 30 lbs and need to get rid 20 (I was a bit too skinny). My boyfriend, who was heavier when i met him, has really let his body go and both our weight gain is affecting our relationship. Unfortunately he has almost 2x as much weight to loose and even though I've gain 20lbs I'm still rather fit, just covered in a layer of fat lol. Since I was in such good shape and lost all that weight in the first place I'm his "trainer". (Wanted to be one for a while) Long story short I would love to meet a few ppl trying to loose the dreaded 10-20 that is so hard to get rid of.

I'm all about yoga, pilates, aerobic classes and weightlifting, just about anything that will make me strong and healthy (i get bored with aerobic machines unless i have some serious jams up way loud). If there are any like minded ppl (doesn't need to be a woman) I would love to chat about the process. I am also a junky for new exercises (have a really bad back and being in shape seems to be the only thing that does the trick.

I hope to meet a few ppl :)

20 here! need it gone by April!
  • Hey there! My name is Carmen. Im 24 years old and currrently I am trying to lose 19 pounds to get to my goal. I've lost 11 so far but the last 20 are always the most difficult to lose. Some tips are to eat more vegetables and fruit, that really helped me. Also snack more, healthy snacks though. That keeps your metabolism up. Eating smaller portions is a big one too. Only eat what you need to feel satisfied, not more. I need to start exercising soon too. But so far Ive lost 11 pounds just by changing my diet :) When it comes to exercise I know you need to do a little bit of everything. I tend to try to do 30-40 of cardio and then 20 minutes of weights and such. That way you tone as well as lose weight. Otherwise you can get flabby. Those are the main tips I can give you. And if you need a buddy Im here. Please add me :)
