Hell Yeah

Two years ago I started this journey of self improvement and my promise to start living a little bit more everyday. Last September I celebrated losing 100lbs and running my first 5K. In October I celebrated turning 39, quit smoking, running 5K's on a regular, and losing 120lbs. In November I was smashed to the ground with horrible leg and feet pain and could barely walk. This is when I gave up.
The week after Valentines Day I finally got over the fear of bad or horrible news and went to a doctor. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and Neuropathy which was causing the horrible & my legs/feet to never heal.
I've found that self love again and have worked my *kitten* off to get healthy again.
Today, almost 6 months from my last completed one, I ran 5K again. My first official 5K race is this Saturday with my rock Ellen and Arch, who is in his first 5K after losing almost 100lbs.
I can only think of two words to describe how I feel today, "Hell Yeah"
