So here I am, after 40+ years of "not needing to watch my weight" I'm making this official!

I'm just learning to count calories, and although I'm slowly learning, this eating right thing is not as awful as it sounds.

That's all I've got for now.

Hello world, My name is gdc and I've got a few pounds to lose!

Welcome, sir! That's the first step in the process of "change", admitting there's something wrong.

No, getting older beats a number of alternatives! Enjoying the age one is, is the greatest joy one can have!

Getting older definitely beats the alternative. Live life to the fullest!

It wasn't so much a calorie-restriction free life. More of an issue of going from a very active, sports every night of the week, lifestyle to a real-job, sit at home in the recliner having a very tasty adult beverage lifestyle. Lesson learned.

In that case it sounds like your well-spent youth will really help you, especially if you decide to get really active again.
