So I am trying very hard to not really hung up on my scale number. However it is so much easier for me to say it then live it and believe it. I have been trying to get into shape and lose this over 30 weight that won't go anywhere!
I am eating consistently under 1300 calories, my diary is open to my friends, working out almost every day, and the scale is not moving. Since January I have lost 5 pounds and that is ALL... It is killing me. I want to wear a bathing suit this summer and look good..
My profile picture is my motivation...it isn't the current me..that is the hot younger version of me...

Are you underestimating the amount of food you are consuming? I know people tend to jump right to the "weigh your food" solution, but for me it has helped on some items that I routinely underestimate, like nut butter or meat.0

WOW some one just like me. That is what I have lost to and its not like I DONT know what Im doing I lost 100lbs with Weight Watchers and kept it off for at least three years but got sick and put some back on. It will be interesting to see what people suggest. I will say that Im in smaller clothes. So I know Im losing inches0

No I don't really eat anything I can't tell how many calories it is. I also give myself about a 200 calorie buffer at the end of the day for any crazy thing I decide I need to try. I know that sounds crazy but if I have a bite of my kids cake, or a piece of chocolate I need some way to record it.0

Measure, weigh, and be honest, log EVERYTHING! I also only weigh myself once a month it's too dicouraging to not see a loss makes me very frustrated and sets me back. If you don't currently do any strength training try adding that to build some muscle. You may gain a little at first but the muscle will increase your metabolism and help you burn fat.
Do you use a heart rate monitor when you workout? If you are just crediting yourself what MFP gives you for exercise, I would cut that by at least 50-100 calories, a HRM is the only way to know exactly how many calories you are burning.
And if you're trying to lose 30 pounds in the next couple months, be honest with yourself that is unrealistic. Putting that kind of pressure into the mix sets you up for failure. Good luck0 -
What are your eating patterns? Like how often are you eating?
What are your workout patterns and what are you doing to workout?
Are you eating a lot of fake sugar to sub?0
