Maybe some kind of clean hummus? It is fiber rich and has lots of potassium like an avocado. The trouble is store bought hummus is full of garbage that washes the benefit of the beans to some degree. I make it at home with tahini, chickpeas, chickpea juice, spices, and a food processor.0

Why would you use canned tomatoes when you could use fresh? Fresh is always better than in a can.
Because it's easier...that was sort of the point of the post since OP claims to be a guac noob. Plus there is other stuff in Rotel besides tomatoes...yes you can use fresh for those too, but again 'easy' was the point. Use whatever you want in your own recipie...no need to be a douche about it.0 -
