BUMP for healthy-ish brownies!!!0

These look great, can you tell us how large in ounces the tin of chickpeas is?0
-
Yum! Bump!0

I've made these with black beans instead of chic peas. They were OK. I like the addition of peanut butter. And I'm definitely going to try the chic peas and see if I like them better. Did you made these in an 8 x 8 or a 9 x 13 pan? Thanks for posting!0

Hi there, a tin is 400g which when I converted on google came up as 14 ounces.0 -

I used some butter beans in my baking before but I found it made the finished product a bit dry, the chickpeas definitely make the mix lovely and moist.0 -

I'm super sad. The chick pea cookie dough I made that I was going to tweak to make into these went sour after like 3 days in the fridge
They smelt rancid. Same with the chick peas I had in the fridge in a mason jar. Who knew dry chickpeas don't last as long as canned chickpeas once they are cooked...

There in lies another question. Along with wanting to know if there is a PB2 conversion....is it better to cook dried chickpeas first or is it acceptable to use canned?0 -
Bump to save for later, kids are gonna love this !0
