Weighing 147 before easter, 152 today. HOW!?

Is this even possible? My diet was going great up until Saturday. I was eating 1200 calories a day. Naturally, on Easter I cheated (I live in Italy with my husband and on Easter the Italians exaggerate) although I did not eat any pasta. Anyway, I weighed myself today and weigh 151 pounds. I do feel bloated, but is it possible to retain 5 pounds of water weight and bloating!? I don't think I gained 5 pounds of fat in one weekend. What can I do to make it go away???

First, hi I'm italian too.
Second, read the link posted. I know Easter in Italy could be a little bit hard, but I really doubt you ate that much (unless you ate 5/4 chocolate eggs, the one with nuts... ferrero? )
Third, forget last week and look forward.0 -
.5-1 lb weight gain, depending on your calorie intake. The rest is water weight.0

5lb chocolate bunny? They DO exist...0

You didn't eat 17,500 calories so I wouldn't worry too much!
Sodium.... So its water weight, Drink plenty of water, eat healthy and watch it go away : )

I gain approximately five pounds before I get my period. Are you near that?
It comes right back off after.0 -
I had a 3.5lb "weight" jump as well after Easter. It was shocking to see, but I've just let nature run it's course and I'm back down to were I was before the holiday. Make sure to drink more water and up your fiber intake a little bit. It's working for me so far!0
