Looking for Active Vegetarian/Flexitarian Friends!

I recently started reducing my meat intake (not eliminating -- still eat meat 2-3 meals a week), but I'm struggling to match my new recipes to my new way of eating. Many of my old go-to dinners revolve around meat! I'm also very active (training for a triathlon). I think it would be really helpful to have some friends with diaries that are mostly plant-based.

Are there any active vegetarians or flexitarians out there who want to be my friend!? Request me!

    Hi cavewoman!

I have been a vegetarian for 6 years and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm not sure my diary would help you because I just started keeping one again and have been so busy with a new job that I haven't exactly been cooking a lot. Lots of frozen dinners for now. :( However, if you let me know what kinds of foods you like I can try to recommend veggie alternatives. :) Some general recommendations are Amy's frozen meals are really good if you want something quick, and Skinny B**** in the Kitch is a great vegan recipe book. The recipe are time consuming but sooo good. I think its great that your trying to eat less meat and I would love to help in anyway that I can. :)

The thrive books(and there are several) by Brendan Brazier are excellent for athletic vegetarians.
