So I know this is a very very small victory in the scheme of things.... but after a month of the start of my journey I finally weighed myself last night! I was a little worried about it for 3 reasons.... I really havent done as well with my eating/exercise as I could be, its right around that time of the month so I am retaining water like crazy! (I know most women will understand this) and I weighed myself at the end of the day (so all the food and water was still in my system from that day)
When I jumped on I had a little pep talk with myself about how its ok if it is up a couple pounds cause I know why it is... and dont get too discouraged! Well turns out... I lost 3 pounds!! I was really happy about it!
In the past when I would weigh myself I would always get discouraged if it was only like 1 pound or even 5 pounds. This time makes me want to work harder this month in both eating and activity so when I weigh myself again I can see what really happens when I put my all into it! I am looking forward to this next month.
Looking back is great too! looking forward and thinking I have months and months till I reach my goal makes it seem daunting but looking back on this month it went so quickly!
7 pounds left till I reach my first initial goal (also made the decision that as soon as I am 10 pounds down I will quit smoking)

So just want to share my small victory and realization :) and I am looking forward to really push myself this month and see where I land!!

Great job :) If you incorporate more exercise and healthier foods in your diet imagine what the weight will be next month :)

    great job,

but be prepared for not getting that loss every time, weight loss is not linear, be persistent , keep going, and re-set you calorie goals as you loose weight

I know that is what is really going to push me this month! I am starting to religiously weigh and track my food using this site. Once I can see what I can really do I will be unstoppable!

my current target is 0.25 kg per week or 1/2 a lb
heads up my monthly cycle puts me up and down well over this range around my period
that doesn't mean the progress isn't there
