Effective Workouts?

So this summer my mom and I really want to get in shape. Rn we're both super out of shape and can't workout for very long. Eventually I want to do the 30 Day Shred, but I was wondering what other workouts would be effective in preparing us for the 30DS?

It all depends on your fitness level. There is a modifier in 30DS but if you're uneasy about doing it, I might suggest Slim In 6.

Check out Chris Freytag and Jeanette Jenkins. They both have some really great workout DVDs that, at least IMO, are doable.

"prepare" for 30DS??? Stop. Stop right now. You don't "prepare" for a 20 minute workout DVD. You just do it. Maybe you have to pause to catch your breath. Maybe you have to stop halfway in during your first week. Just keep trying to do more each day. There's no C230DS workout plan0

Hello, I'm entering this thread to respond to your question regarding preparing for 30 day shred. My intention is to inform you of how absolutely ridiclious the very notion of preparing for a beginner 20 minute DVD that 300 pound sedentary people manage to do is. Not only is program fairly simple and able to be picked up by just about anyone but it's also full of adaptions you can do if you can't do the full version and you're told to stop as needed. Frankly I'm both amused and bothered that this is even a question.
I'm expressing myself to you in this manner in hopes that you'll see your concern is silly and misplaced and just gt to work.0 -
