I make this all the time for a fun quick treat when my ice cream craving kicks in:
3 Cups of frozen whole strawberries (I want to try peaches sometime)
1 cup of low fat vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon of honey
put all ingredients in your food processor and fire it up! in about 2-3 minutes you have a delicious sorbet style frozen yogurt. It's a great light finisher to a savory meal.

Sounds yummy and easy enough. Do you think this would work in a blender?0

Sounds yummy! I agree peaches sound good. I'm tried making sorbet in my ninja with almond milk or coconut milk but it comes out too thin. I've been thinking about using greek yogurt. Thanks!0

So tweak it to meet your numbers........ splenda as a sweetener if needed. Plain fat free greek yogurt would eliminate the fat and add a little more protein. Geez.

2 cups frozen raspberries
2 1/4 cups frozen peaches
2 tbls creamed honey
2 cups water
I have a vitamix so I'm not sure everyone can pull this off, but it was amazing.
I split 1 batch into 3 servings (could easily be stretched to 4). Per Serving using the recipe calc:

I say:
Good points:
Very high in sugar
I came to this thread searching for frozen yoghurt options - I'd like to try making my own to get the flavourers I want, but with relatively low fat.
Happy to have fat on my 'rest' (non workout/deficit) days, but trying to limit it a bit on weights days (calorie surplus).
Amusingly, a recipe I found on another site had someone complaining about store bought frozen yoghurt being 'high in sugar', then suggesting it'd be fine using skimmed milk, which is of course around half sugar and half protein - so also going to be rather high in sugar.
Take the sugar out and you've got protein powder .0 -
I just made my "dessert" in a similar way.
2/3 cup of fat free plain (greek) yogurt
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 tsp sugar in the raw or honey or maple syrup (not necessary)
Pureed it with my hand blender.

Wow this was really good, so good that as I went to bed I dreamed about frozen yogurt all night long..
Mine came out to 198 calories as a single serving with 15g protein win!
I used a 5.3oz of dannon light & fit greek yogurt strawberry flavor 80cals
2.7 oz of dannon light & fit vanilla yougurt just to make it a full cup 36 cals
1 cup of frozen strawberries 50 cal
half a Tbsp of Honey 32 cals
I combined the 2 yogurts and stored them in the freezer for about an hour prior to making just to help make the final product a little more frozen. I used a regular blender which worked great but I had to stop and stir every few cycles to help it blend up the strawberries. I added the honey in last after everything was blended nicely. Poured into a bowl and ate immediately!! NOM!!!
Will definitely make this again, and again!! Thanks again OP!!0
