So on 4-20-14 I started walking 6.2 miles a day and watching what I eat, I weight 226 currently- today I went out and bought lean muscle milk and tried it. How long until I start seeing weight loss? I could use any advice.

you haven't seen weight loss yet? you must have bought a defective muscle milk.0

How much are you eating every day? Are you being accurate with your calorie tracking? Do you weigh and measure your food? The calorie intake side of the equation is much more significant than the exercise side...0

This is going to sound very stupid, I really have no idea what to eat. in the morning I have a few cups of coffee and a single cup of non fat yogurt with muesli on top (like three table spoons) I would like to do six small meals- I have done that before with success. My boyfriend cooks all of the meals and he is not watching his weight (he's 190 and losing so he constantly stuffs his face and brags that he's losing weight and I want to punch him. ) So I started only eating when I am hungry but then it seems like i only eat about 1000 calories a day. So I'm stumped on what I should eat.0

you eat your normal foods. you just eat less of them.
no need to add muscle milk into your diet. chocolate milk is better. the real chocolate milk, not yoohoo or hersheys syrup in milk.
measure and weigh everything.0 -
Its not real milk its a protein that you add to water. I personally hate milk. I'm also not a big sweets fan so that's a no go on the chocolate milk.
Also what are some good warm up exercises for walking?0 -

i know what muscle milk is, just wasn't sure if you got the powdered stuff or the individual bottles. if all you're doing is walking, you do not really need any kind of protein shake, unless you are unable to get your protein from normal food sources.
personally, i don't find chocolate milk that sweet.
walking is a good warm up exercise.0 -
I power walk 6 miles. when I first get started on my walks my calves are burning but once i'm at it for a while they settle down was just wondering if there was a exercise i could do to prevent this?
I don't eat a lot of meat so i figured it couldn't hurt to try it.0 -
You are wanting to do a different exercise so your calves DO burn?
Using a protein supplement is fine and doesn't hurt or help your weight loss efforts while in a deficit. All it does help to preserve your muscle mass.0 -
Just thinking if there were any stretches I could do so that my calves wouldn't hurt.0
