Reprogramming my brain

I have tried some crazy diet fads but came down to the conclusion that I wanted was to learn some long-term good habits not a quick fix that was only going to disappoint me in the long run. Well, I decided to change how I thought about losing weight. I read every and any bit of information that I can come across and try to learn as much as I can about nutrition and fitness. I have lost a few pounds just by counting calories and have managed to make it fun and educational, not just for myself but also for my husband and stepchildren. It is interesting to see that when you are counting calories, you tend to make smarter choices because you want to stay within your daily limit. I know that I have a long road ahead but I am starting 25 lbs at a time. Thank you for your attention and good luck to all of you.
