Everything changes....except my waist :(

I have been consistently dieting and working out for about 6 months now. I am happy with my progress, I've gotten a lot stronger and feel much better, even if I haven't lost that many pounds. My arms have gone to super flabby to actually looking toned finally, my thighs are looking much better too. However, my waist doesn't change! Over the first 2-3 months it went down around 2-2.5 inches. But it's been stuck at 30-30.5 inches since mid-January. I am working out 6x a week, and 2-3 out of these are weight training. Then, I do cardio pretty much every day, and have one rest day. I am female, 5'5, eating 1500 calories a day: 45% from protein, 30-35% from carbs, 20-25% from fat. Thankfully, I'm pretty sure most of what I have lost has been fat, and it's noticeable. Even in my stomach, it looks better and I don't have any rolls anymore but the measurement does not change...at...all. What is going on?!

I wish I had a solution for you, but all I can provide right now is empathy! I'm 5'4"/5'5" and have been stuck at 29" for my waist measurement for several months. I think all we can really do is keep it up with the healthy eating and working out, and focus on the positives of happiness, strength and general well-being. Maybe take some progress pics of your stomach area so you can see changes in the rest of it even if the measurement's not shifting at the smallest point? You're obviously making progress and moving forward. You'll get there!0
