Newbie and new starter :)

Hi there,

completely new to actual exercise and never been particularly good at paying attention to what I was putting through my body....
I was on a pack of cigarette a day and always used that as an excuse not to exercise.
Have just discovered e-cigs and for the first time in years, I've managed to not have a cigarette! Now on day 12! Go me!

As part of my quit smoking campaign, I've decided to start running and would love to also be fitter! I've got about 10 kilos to lose as well but really just want to stay off the cigarettes and eventually stop the e-cigarette as well ....

tall order?

Would love some new friends for motivation, support, complaints etc too :) That would definitely be an added bonus!

C.

    Hi

    Welcome to MFP.

Feel free to add me if you like. I'm on here every day and try to support as best as I can.

    Well done on quitting smoking.

I'm a runner as well and started from nothing to doing 10k races.

    You will get there :)
