I have gained a considerable amouunt of weight in the past two years and I need to get rid of it. I need some accountability.
I am 6'2" and 265lbs. I plan to swim, lift weights, bike and possibly run at a fast shuffle pace. I would love to see 200lbs. I am bad at making time for exercise and I am a food junkie so its going to be a rough journey but my knees are telling me I must do this!

HAHAHAHA, I used to say the same thing!!!!

It's been getting better. I don't feel like my breathing is constricted when tying shoes. I can get my knee closer to the middle of my body now. Not all the way but it's getting there.

    Welcome!!!!!
  • I feel the same way. I was 180 lbs about 5 years ago. I balloon to 300 lbs in about 2 yrs. Now I have been on a roller coaster with my weight. I love all the wrong foods and don't do a good job with exercise. But things are changing now

I was there too! Actually, I could barely reach my toes to cut my toe nails. I went from 332 down to 238 and I'm still working at the last 20. Add me and check out my food diary if you need some ideas.
  • I totally understand!! 2 1/2 years ago I weighed 150 pounds(mainly muscle :) ) and was very, very fit. I ended up getting pregnant and over 9 months gained 100 pounds!! I lost like a bunch after having my son and went down to 180. I became really depressed and was disgusted with my body so I began to eat. Now I'm up to 250 :/.

I hate that I can't bend over to tie my shoes! And I hate getting out of breath from just walking up the stairs. Now that I've gained all this weight it feels like every joint in my body is falling apart.
