I would like to start juicing. Can anyone tell me some good juicing recipes they have tried? Thanks!

    5 Kale or collard leaves
    1 granny smith apple
    1/2 peeled lemon
    1/2 peeled orange
    3 carrots
    1 cucumber
    3 celery ribs

I throw a bit of stevia in there if it's too sour. This recipe is based on using an auger or masticating juicer... If you're using a centrifugal juicer, you may want to throw in a few extra kale leaves since Centrifugal juicers don't give a very high yield from greens.

I usually go with whatever is lying around plus some veg! Juicing is great :)

I'm a big fan, I find it really peps me up! Sure you're aware from the literature out there to be careful of adding lots of sugar to juices. I'm using a centrifugal juicer, tend to get about 2 pints of juice a time (I log this using Campbells V8 juice on the assumption that calories would be about the same) from the recipes I use.

    This one feels zingy/zesty:
    1 cucumber
    3-4 stalks celery
1/2 lime (I just leave the zest and pith on)
    2 apples
Big chunk of ginger, about the size of an eraser (again, I don't peel it, just throw it in)

This one feels a tad more earthy/substantial (for a juice!)
    500g carrots (3-4 big ones)
    2-3 stalks celery
    2 apples
    Big chunk of ginger
A couple of handfuls of spinach leaves

Can almost feel the vit C leaping out from this one:
    500g carrots
2 oranges (I take off about half the zest and peel as I found it tastes too sour with all of it left on)
    3-4 stalks celery
    Big hunk of ginger

The quantities below only gives about 250ml, but a good winter warmer:
    3-4 parsnips
    Big hunk of ginger

Let us know how you get on!

I really like Jason Vale's 'Juice Master' programs - '7lbs in 7 days' followed up with 'Turbo Charge your life in 14 days' really worked well for me
