I'm new to My Fitness Pal

Hi everyone! I just started with My Fitness Pal 4 days ago with my daughter. We are both trying to lose weight before her wedding on June 11, 2011! I did real good with my calories the first 2 days but went out to eat yesterday and went over 607 calories. - oops! but I can see that this will really help me be accountable. It's hard training my stomach to not think it wants more right after I eat a reasonable size meal! But I try to drink water afterwards. It seems to be helping.
I'm really looking forward to any all tips that anyone wants to send my way.

    Hello! And congrats on the upcoming wedding! I remember when I was trying to lose weight for my wedding almost two years ago. It was hard, but it sure was motivating! However, after my wedding I quickly put on 20 more pounds. That's what brought me here. It's more about setting one long-term goal; it's really about changing your lifestyle. Just take it one day at a time!
