I don't think it's worth the money unless you just really really like the taste.

There are definitely cheaper alternatives but why do you need a shake?

They are losing because they are at a calorie deficit and if they are losing "more", than their deficit might be more than what you are currently at.

Weigh all your food on a food scale, log everything everyday, and stay in your calorie goals and you'll lose fine with or without a shake.

It is quite easy to eat that much. Even "healthy". It's about eating smarter if you are having issues meeting your calorie goals.

Avocado/olive oils, peanut butter, oatmeals, breads, rice, etc.

The stuff is probably fine, but if it were me I would buy something like Met Rx MRP which is probably better for you and costs less than half as much....

I'm also of the opinion that you don't need Shakeology or any other supplement to lose weight.
Just be honest, accurate, and consistent with your exercise and eating habits.

Are you losing too quickly eating 1600? Where did you get the 2200 number from? I wouldn't drink shakes just to reach an arbitrary number until you see how you do eating at a reasonable amount that seems to be enough for you. Just my thought.

People use shakes for different things. I, myself, am terrible about eating breakfast and I find a shake a quick way to ensure I get some nutrients in the morning to start the day. I loved the taste of Shakeology, but I felt the cost was unjustifiable. I also liked that it had a satiation quality to it because it was somewhat thick. The best alternative I've found for me has been Optimum Nutrition's Complete Protein Diet. I supplement it with a serving of fresh fruit of some sort mid-morning.

More than likely because they are eating less than you. Shakeology will help with "filling" up so one will eat less. But unless one is going to do this the rest of their lives, wouldn't it make more sense to learn how not to over eat?

None of that stuff is worth your money! By reading a little bit on your postings you really need to review your calorie intake. The reason why A LOT of people don't loose weight is because they eat too LITTLE! Less food is not the answer to loose weight. You should concentrate on eating healthy, at least 5 to 6 meals a day, yes I suggest you purchase a food scale and be consistent with your food and workouts. If you do workout 1 or 2 protein shakes are always good but there is NOTHING better than whole foods!!
    Good Luck!

Thanks everyone. Actually i think i eat too much (i reach my calories most of time or go over) but its not really healthy and thats my issue. Eating isnt a big problem it's eating the right kind of food! I am hoping that going into month 2 i can actually bring myself to do healthier options. I've actually considered starting the whole 60 days over adn doing it the correct way with good foods not junk haha. I dont eat as bad as i use to so it's improved a little!

I have been drinking Shakeology for breakfast for 2 months. It keeps me full all morning until lunch. I love the way I feel, I have energy and my skin has cleared up. This is the first "diety" shake I have ever liked! I think the price is steep but it comes up to about $4 something per shake which is cheaper than most meals if you were to eat out.

I think that until you buy the food scale, you are not going to have an accurate idea of how much you are eating. People tend to vastly underestimate how much a portion is.
I got a scale on Amazon for about $14. Money well spent, IMO. Because I was one those people who had no clue about portion size.
I would also suggest a HRM to calculate the calories you are burning and use that as a guide.
