    OK team Ed....
    I know it's not 2011 yet...but I need you now.

    I started out my morning horribly.
    For those of you who don't know me, I am the manager of a Dunkin Donuts. Yeah, it's hard.

    I had my oatmeal at 4 AM, headed to work for 5...
    I can usually resist but not today. I was craving the sweets big time.
    Look at my diary!
    Then around 8 I felt like I was going to fall asleep where I stood. Talk about sugar crash!
    So I grabbed a red bull and woke up. I was flying around on my Red Bull Wings and got everything I had to do done. Now It's 2:30, I haven't eaten anything else, I don't really feel hungry, but I can't really exercise on an empty stomach.

    What would you do for the rest of today if you were me...food and exercise wise?
    Skip the workout and go to bed wicked early?
    Work out on an empty stomach and try to earn more so I can enjoy dinner?
    Call it a cheat day and say screw it?

    I must add that I am going out for BBQ Chicken Pizza with my kids tonight. It is a planned dinner for my older son's last night in town, he goes back to his Dad's tomorrow. :cry: So I'm definitely going to have another 1000 or so tonight!

    Argh!

    I would drink a no sugar added Carnation Instant shake (13g of protien), then hit the gym! I always try to work out when I'm going out to eat.

    I would have a banana, wait 20 minutes and then work out. That way I could have my pizza and not feel the least bit guilty about it. No one says you have to put in a huge long workout... just a 20-30 minute one!

    Thanks for the input guys. I ended up being about 1000 calories over. But it was my son's last night in town, I had to.:wink:
    Today is a new year with fresh outlooks and new goals.
    We are gonna rock this thing!
