Burned calories on strenght training

Hey guys, i have a question; how come when i input strenght excercise it dosnt show how many cals i burn? Without that how can i know my net cals. I know that weight training burns a lot so how can i fix this?

You can enter it by searching for it under the cardio. The strength section in MFP is just for recording reps etc. but will not calculate nor add calories burnt. Anytime you want calories burnt you will enter it under the cardio.
BTW you do not burn as many calories strength training as you would think you do0 -
Thank you, I was just about to ask this question but searched first! Would be hard for a program to calculate anyways, depends on speed of reps and amount of time between sets.0

I use a heart rate monitor to find out my burn from strength training. You certainly don't burn as many as you do doing cardio but it all counts. I tend to feel hungrier after strength training too...0

HRM is not good for determining burns for lifting...0
