I've never tasted or even heard of dragon fruit. I shall have to seek that out.

I'm not a huge fan of avocado either. I love my homemade guacamole, but I'm not a fan of most store bought and most restaurant versions. I don't like it when it's whipped to mush. I hate avocado on burgers. Worst idea ever IMO.

I'm a "I'll give most anything a try" type person when it comes to food, heatlhy or not. The most delicious thing I tried is roasted brussel sprouts. I grew up only tasting them steamed and hated them (still do!), but they are like a totally different vegetable when roasted.

The most disgusting things I've tried were calamari and scallop sushi. I'm not a calamari fan any way I've tried it, but those two things are just flat out repulsive raw.

Oh, and quinoa. Though it's been years since I frist tried it, I really love quinoa salads.

I love avocado. Did you ever notice that when a restaurant wants to make something "California style" they slap an avocado on it? Folks from LA tend to eat a lot of avocados. I think you may have to grow up eating them tho.

I loved quinoa from the start.

I have celiac so gluten free foods are healthy for me. Most pre-packaged gluten free foods taste like poop. I got pretty good at baking my own stuff. I have a great gluten free flour mix I use all the time.

    Marmite SOUNDS scary!

When I started out here a couple of years ago I'd pick out something new each week to try. The best was spaghetti squash and tilapia and the worst was flax seeds. But none of those new foods really stuck and we're back to eating the same normal, everyday (for us) foods we've always eaten.

Except I forgot about coconut oil and heavy cream! Those were new for us but quickly became a staple.

I'm a foodie so I thoroughly enjoy food and enjoy trying new foods. There's not much out there that I don't like...I like somethings more than others to be sure, but in my experience, most things are pretty delicious when properly prepared. Often when I haven't liked something it was because it was ill prepared and I'm usually willing to give pretty much anything a 2nd go around just to be sure.

After nearly 40 years I've determined that I don't really like organ meat (though I will tolerate beef liver and onions) nor do I like intestines (tripe). I have yet to come across a fruit or vegetable that I loath...again, some better than others, but no fruit or vegetables that I just won't eat period.

I'm not fussy at all, always love trying new things, its rare that i eat something that makes me gag. My mother always said to use all your senses before you let anything pass through your lips , if it looks and sounds good, smells good, feels good , its going to taste good!

    SHE LIED!
