Do Office Exercises Do Anything?

Except maybe make you feel silly? Sometimes I spend a ton of time at the desk and can't leave it, so I started looking up office exercises and desk exercises but they feel a little weak.

    There are excellent exercises you can do without equipment, push-ups for example. Even push-ups from the edge of the desk. But do you want to get all sweaty at work? Oh, wait, you said you could not leave the desk, rules suck but the paycheck is needed.

    Coding at a screen all day makes me feel like my butt is spot-welded to the chair. I find a quiet corner and do simple yoga (really simple) that does not require lying on the floor. All the joints crackle and pop a few times, and I'm good for another few hours at the screen.

    They probably do more than absolutely nothing.

    Some of them are strange, like holding your legs in the air, crossed, and pushing against each other until you get tired.
