I've dropped 50 lbs, to enlist in the Army. I'm borderline on my tape test. I need to 26 percent. Last week I was 25, and 26 percent. Today I measured 27, which means I can't enlist. I lost 3 lbs since last week, but someone measured bigger. Im a half inch to inch over. I'm more then ready to join. I know I may get some crap for this, but can anyone give me a tip to cut waist inches temporarily and safely?

Saran wrap and intense cardio. That's about it for a not-so-miraculous quick water weight drop. But you can't drink any water back otherwise *poof* that mystic inch you lost is back. Just lots of exercise, plenty of water, and low sodium should do the trick without resorting to saran wrap.

You can drop water weight by drinking a large amount of water (like 2 gallons over the course of a day) while injesting very little sodium. After a few days of this drop the water intake drastically to just a little bit right before your test and you will basically pee it all out. Now this will make you drop substantial water weight but I'm not sure if it will make you drop substantial inches or not. Also you have to be careful, you can actually poison yourself if you drink way way to much water so do not over do it. Wrestlers and other athletes who weigh-in to get ranked sometimes do this to drop some weight but again not sure if it drops inches.

No salt, restrict water, saran wrap and lotion with exercise. Definitely short term and it will come back as soon as you rehydrate, but it might get you past the enlistment measurement phase. Basically, you will just be sweating it off. Don't restrict water for extended periods of time. You shouldn't retain water if you don't use salt at all for a short period.
