For my body, I decided to stop drinking soda all together and drink only my two cups of coffee in the morning
and water the rest of the day. I have lost six lbs and feel so much better.
Soda is so bad for our body's.
The sugars in soda has been linked to many long term illnesses in addition to the obesity problem in the USA.
Just stop drinking this stuff.

    I agree. I stopped drinking it about 2 months ago. Although I was only drinking diet soda. I didnt lose much weight from stopping but I did lower my sodium count which is also a bad thing about soda.

    I do once in a while drink diet soda but its normally once a month or so.

    You can probably eliminate your coffee, too. If you chug 30 oz in the morning as soon as you get up, and I mean really slam it, it will have a similar effect on your body as a cup of joe. It's a weird little phenomena (and you knock out some of your water quota for the day, too!)

    Congrats to you!! I gave up sodas roughly around july/august and it is the greatest thing I have ever done! I have a sip of my boyfriends now and then. No more than that because I can't handle all the ingredients and how grimy my mouth feels. :)

    gave up soda over a year ago I was a diet coke addict. I feel so much better. If I do get a craving for a soda i grab some seltzer water. :)
  • Hello everyone!! I'm 2 days new to this program and already I'm loving it. I lost 30 about 3 years ago and when I weighed 3 days ago, I only had 1 more pound to go to have gained it all back! I'm so upset about having to loose all of it again plus 20 more!! But I will!!!! About this soda, pop topic. I absoultly crave the carbonation. That buring sensation. I have already cut down a bit but I'm trying to overcome it completely. I do like water with limes or lemons so I will drink more of that.
