A Lot to Lose!

I have been on MFP for a while, but am just now starting over. I would love to find a small group of active friends that have quite a bit to lose so that we can support each other through this journey! I am looking to lose about 80 pounds, so I am in this for the long haul. I am looking forward to hopefully finding a great group of friends to help motivate me, and I will do the same! I have been struggling with this for many years, and I know I have to make some life changes and get healthy! Thanks for reading this and hope to gain some new friends soon! Good luck to all on your weight loss journey's! :)

    Hello! I am new to MFP but have a big amount to lose as well (about 100 pounds). I'd love to join the journey with you! I feel like If I have people to talk to and we can motivate each other, there will be better results. I had lost weight before and I'm now starting over and I DO NOT wanna have a repeat and start all over AGAIN. Feel free to add me!

    Hi, I joined in 2012, and decided I could do it on my own, then tried WW, then on my own......here I am back again. Sad thing is my weight ticker is actually less then what I need to lose now---so over the past 2 years of "doing it on my own", I actually weight more. I can't wait until I can change the weight to a smaller # of lbs to lose : )

    Re-started again last week. I have about 50 to go. Let's be friends!

    hi i also have 80lbs or more to lose. I am new to mfp i can never seem to stick to dieting and exercising so hopefully with support from others i can do this.. =)
  • I'm new here and have a lot to lose my initial goal is 100lbs. I'd love to have a group of people to help motivate me and (hopefully) be motivated by me as well. I really, really want to make these changes and I know having supportive friends would be of great help. :)

    Ive been a user of MFP for quite a while now - although when I say use, I mean I have had the app on my phone for quite a while and never used it. However with the warmer weather heading my way, and a holiday next year I need to shift about 90lbs - mainly because so many clothes no longer fit (or never did so no idea why I bought them) - but also I feel my health is beginning to suffer - I feel sluggish, tired and moody, I know for sure if I lose weight both physically and mentally I will be a lot better.

    A bit about me - I am 34, live in Kent in England and have been married for just over 5 years. I have a dog and a cat, love the countryside, listening to music and socialising.

    Im not joining a slimming club but have joined a gym opposite work today so my first go in there is tomorrow at 7am before work!! Im going to use the calorie tracker on here to try to control what I am eating and how much - Im going to try to focus about 50/50 on the food and exercise as both need to be looked at for me to be able to do this!!
