Hahaha, obviously you still feel hungry. You're removing whole food from your diet which tends to be filling, and replacing it with liquid calories which tend to not be filling at all...0 -

Protein, fat, and fiber all help you stay full longer.
Some people swear by "just protein".....doesn't work well for me. You might look into making your own smoothies with protein powder. That way you can add fiber (spinach, whole fruit, chia seeds, whatever) and fat (full fat yogurt, peanut butter, coconut oil).0 -
The Premier Protein shakes at Costco have 30 grams per 11 oz. shake, which is among the highest I've seen. When I have them they have no trouble keeping me full till lunch time.0

I like the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein - Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
I use my Magic Bullet, put 1/2 cup low cal yogurt (you can use Greek for more protein but also more calories), 1/2 cup fat free milk (you can use Almond milk too), 1 cup frozen strawberries (you can use fresh fruit or any frozen fruit, I just really enjoy the strawberries and the consistency it makes the smoothie) and a scoop of the powder. It is a 300 calorie breakfast, 30 grams of protein and keeps me full all morning. Sometimes I eat 1/2, put the rest in the freezer and eat it an hour or two later when I start to feel hungry.
Its super easy and pretty balanced. Tastes great too.0 -
Why use a shake when you can actually eat foods and still get the same results (if not better)?0

I keep a couple shakes at work so that if it is a choice between eating nothing or having a shake I at least get some level of nutrition/fiber/protein in me. But I agree with those that reccomend real food over a shake. I think shakes are great as a once-in-a-while-desperate-times-call-for-desperate-measures help, but not as a have two shakes a day every day for a month. That's just my 2 cents.
And I'd suggest the generic shakes, not the brand names(ie: slim-fast). Same ingredients, lot less money.0
