Are my intervals enough? Please look at my routine :)

hey everyone! i want to share what my interval workout is before I ask my question

WARM UP I run 1 mile for warm up. 12 minutes or so.
next..

WORKOUT SERIES 1: 8 rounds of 50/50sec no rest. Intervals of jump roping/skipping/pretty fast (50 sec) then i jump on treadmill and jog/run with an incline (50sec)

NEXT
WORKOUT SERIES 2: 8 rounds of 50/50sec no rest. Jog/run slight incline (50sec) then I do a cross train workout such as jump squats (50secs), then back to the treadmill (50sec) then back to the floor with another cross train exercise, ( jump lunges, push ups, burpees, skaters, planks, toe touches...etc)

NEXT
WORKOUT SERIES 3: I go back to work out number 1, the run/skip interval

NEXT
WORKOUT SERIES 4: I do another 8 rounds of number 2 workout

FINALLY
WORKOUT SERIES 5: I do interval of 8 rounds 50/50 again, this time run/jog/slight incline (50sec) then to the floor to do abs (50 secs)

In the end, it's about 1hr 1/2 total, around 700-800 calories burned according to my Polar.

This workout series makes me happy and I feel burned out. So its good. But my question is, I used to do two days of cycling. I took last week off it because I was sore, and just exhausted. this week, honestly I don't want to go to class. I like working out alone. I like to feel that intensity alone and push and push by myself. And I feel like maybe I don't need to go to class? I will USUALLY workout 4-5 days a week. AIM for 5 or else I'll be angry.

Will this damper my figure? By cutting out cycling two days a week? Maybe I'll do one day out of the week. I think that would be decent. But I want to be able to take 2 or 3 days off without feeling guilty!!! I think I work out hard enough to not have to feel that way. And I don't eat that bad. A lot of fruit and veggies.

What do you guys think? I burn more with my workout than cycling anyways! lol.

Serious question, what are your goals? Are your intervals enough....for what?

You're doing a lot of random cardio. If your goal is to do random cardio and increase conditioning to an extent then I guess you're fine. If your goal is to just burn a ton of calories then I guess that's fine too.

People usually switch to HIIT because you work at a higher intensity for a shorter time. I can complete the same calorie burn I used to get in just over an hour of running type cardio in 30 minutes doing it, so an hour and a half seems like too much. But if it is working, and you are loosing weight, then stick with it.

Search FitnessBlender on YouTube for other activities to add in.

If you want to have muscle definition, hit the weights. Doing crazy amounts of cardio is pretty much the opposite of what you want.
