Quit smoking and gained 10lbs:(

I quit smoking in January and since then I have put on a little better than 10 lbs. Once I noticed the weight gain, I started working out 6 times a week and have been for about a month. I HAVE NOT LOST A POUND! I am in my second week of Focus T25 workout and I truly have been busting my tail. I'm 31, 5 '4 and now, 150 pounds with a goal of 132lbs. I am enjoying the workouts but I am really struggling with my diet and I am really discouraged by the scale. Who thought that making one healthy decision could be could be brought down by this weight gain:(

    Good job!!!
    You'll get there!
We live in a want it now world.
    Remain consistent, and keep tracking!
If you're tracking regularly, it becomes a matter of adjusting while being consistent.
If done honestly, regularly, and consistently, you will reach your goals.
    You're doing great already!!!

You're lucky, I gained much more than 10 lbs when I quit smoking. Hang in there, you just need to weigh and log everything you eat to make sure you're at a deficit. Calories in calories out, if you are certain you're at a deficit and not losing weight you should see your doctor because there may be a medical issue trumping the laws of nature.

Sometimes healthy choices don't always have the most desired results, you will get those extra 10lbs shed and I'd hope it'll be soon for your sake but don't get discouraged, use it as fuel to keep going!
