OK.. How many calories are in a cup of green grapes?

Before I started logging calories into MFP , I new one cup of grapes is 60 calories. But when I go to searching the calorie count on this websites, a lot of loggers say they are 110 calories per cup and others say 60. What do you guys log them in as?

A cup of grapes (no matter the color) is around 100 calories. I don't know where you got 60 from.

But weighing them would be more accurate.

Search in the database for grapes, red, raw and the first item that comes up is "grapes, raw." Since it does not have an asterisk next to it, it is from the USDA database. Use that one. And weigh them, don't use measuring cups.

You need to weigh them. It is difficult to be precise with something like grapes when using cup measurements. If you are unable to weigh them, then I would just go with the highest caloric content you find.

I had a wee look at conversions and such online and it looks like 1 cup of grapes is about 151g.

151g of grapes on MFP is just over 100 calories.

Cups confuse the hell out of me...being a UK member I much prefer grams and millilitres!

This is a perfect example of why a scale is important.
