How fast will I lose?

Hi there. I'm getting married in October so a couple weeks ago I decided to stop being a turd and shed some lbs. I lost about 40lbs after graduating from college but have since gained some of it back. My question is, at the rate I'm eating/workout out how fast will I see good results?
male, 27 yrs old, 6'1'' tall, 215 lbs.
My fitness pal is giving me 2,200 calories/day. And I'm burning 700-800 calories in the gym 4-5 days/week. By the end of the day I usually have nearly 1,000 calories to spare.
At this rate how quick should I see the scale hit 190?
Thanks!!!

If you have 1000 calorie deficit, you should lose 25 lbs in 3 months.0

Do yourself a favor, set MFP to lose 1 pound per week. Eat some of your exercise calories. This way you won't lose too much muscle as you lose and you will still reach your goal.0

Congrats on getting married in October! I would set your calorie level so that (while exercising regularly and sticking to your nutrition) you will lose 1-2 lbs/week. That is a good plan. You have plenty of time before your wedding, so you don't want to go too fast.

Netting that little is not a good plan.0 -
Thanks for the input!
I don't think I'll lose much muscle by cutting calories because I'm lifting and taking one scoop of muscle milk afterwards.
I'm looking to cut fast.0 -

congrat on the engagement
don't loose fast - it isn't good for you
loose sustainably at 0.5 to 1lb per week to give you a chance of staying healthy and keeping it off
so why not make your target fitness and health for the whole of your married life rather than weight loss for the wedding?0 -
