Hello,
I'm having problems controlling my diet over the weekends, I am quite good in eating healthy over the week, I drink enough water and balance my meals, but I started noting that over the weekends I tend to eat more, and last week instead of losing weight I gained more weight.
I'm worried, can anyone give me some advice?
Thank you,
Patricia

IMO, if you have the ability to do it during the week, you should be able to manage during the weekend. Yes, it maybe a lil harder, being around others eating things you won't/can't, but that's part of having the willpower to succeed. Once you realize that, you won't be beat. YOU can do it!!!!0

Portion control - and tracking with the MFP app. Its everywhere with me, as I use the app when not at the computer.
On the other hand, I don't aim to eat at a deficit EVERY day. Typically I go for a 500 calorie per day deficit. But here & there (2-3 times per month perhaps) I eat higher. Kind of a maintenance level so I take those 500 calories back. I typically go for 1400-1600 so an extra 500 is significant. Makes it easier to enjoy things I like but might have a hard time fitting in when going for a deficit. (Like chicken wings, or having a few drinks.) And I'm not 'cheating' but having a 'normal' day. I'm not going to eat at a deficit forever, so why not take a day off now & then?0
