Does anyone do Weight Watchers and My Fitness Pal? I have tried MFP alone and haven't had much success. I have had a lot of success on WW but money is tight these days. Also, does anyone have any thoughts about the new points plus program WW is doing? Thanks

I've done both and have found both equal. Since this one doesn't cost anything, I prefer this site.

I'm doing both right now. I prefer WW over this site. I love the new PP because of the free fruit!
  • I just cancelled my WW subscription last week because I wasn't having any success with it. The new points system is ok, but I like MFP much much better and had better success with it last year. I'm sticking with MFP!

I've tried both also. I prefer MFP...don't know why, but I do. For some reason I can keep to my calorie goals much easier than WW.

I lost 50 lbs with WW about 6 years ago, the most success I've ever had. But like you said, money is tight and I can't affford WW right now. I still have all my tools from WW though, and decided to give the core plan a try (first time). I joined MFP because I was curious to see how many calories, fat, etc. I was eating everyday on this plan.

However, this is my first day on MFP, so I have no feedback to provide at the moment.

I've done both and both are equally as good. However, no matter which one you choose you're either going to stick to the plan or you're not. If you stick to your calorie allowance you'll lose weight. If you stick to your points allowance you'll lose weight. Seeing as funds are tight stick with mfp.

The main advantage mfp has over WW is that you can actually see where the bulk of your calories are coming from and so it does help you to make wiser food choices.

    Hope this helps:smile:
