Any loss is a loss!

Well, I still have around 20lbs to go before I reach a weight that will look good at my short height, but lately I've been pretty down and then I realizes - HEY! I've lost almost 24lbs in the year of 2010. Not as much as I would have liked.. but that;s a small child! I started in January 2010 with weight watchers at a high weight of 158.2lbs. I was OBESE, obese! I got down to 141lbs or so when I realized WW was getting to expensive for my budget. I found MFP in June and loved it, it was easier to count cals and nutrients than points! plus I love the forums. When I started MFP i was at 139lbs, I was really proud that I even lost a little while off weight watchers! Now I am 135lbs. So I've only lost about 4lbs while on MFP, but I am definitely more knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. I actually ENJOY exercising now. I just need to get my eating in check. Although I've only lost about 4lbs on MFP I need to start realizing, I lost almost 24lbs.. and haven't gained them back! I am still smaller than I started in January of 2010!!! I know 2011 will be my year (I've been hearing this alot lately) and I will get to goal because now seeing that I lost over 20lbs in 2010, I am motivated to lose 20lbs more and tone up in 2011!!
Here are some pics:
before (this is in october of 2009, so I may have been bigger than 158.2lbs, I dont have any pics from january 2010):
and this is me in this past July at my garduation party, not most current but I was around 134lbs then, so just a lb smaller than I am right at this moment:
I can DEFINITELY tell the difference in my fat little face and my arms!
The point of this post is to celebrate the small loses. I didnt lose a phenomenal amount of weight in 2010 but what I lost still matters.
Celebrate your small loses! Any loss is a loss and is better than a gain!! :-)
Good luck to everyone in 2011!!
