I've only lost 25 pounds but it feels like so much more! I think it is because I have been weight lifting and gaining a lot of new muscles I never knew I had!

Ha! Thanks! I've never thought about it like that! I guess I'm thinking about it more like, "I've lost 25 but I still have like 70 to go" ... lol0 -
you did a great job! You look great!0

Thank you! I honestly can't believe the results I've gotten. I attribute most of it to lifting weights. My metabolism SUCKS and they say for every pound of muscle you put on your metabolism gets that much faster (I can't remember the exact number lol)0 -
good job! I can totally tell the difference keep it up!0

It really does. Way to go!0 -
Thanks everyone! I wonder if muscle really does weigh more than fat. If it does, that could be the reason I look like I've lost more than I have. Anyone know for sure?0

You look great!!
Muscle and fat weigh the exact same. The difference between the two is muscle is a whole lot leaner than fat, which explains why a person can lose some weight but look like they've lost way more. It's all that lean muscle being revealed.0 -

Per unit volume muscle weighs more than fat. Also, you could look at it as one pound of muscle takes up less space than 1 lb of fat.

Thanks guys! That is good information to know. I am definitely stronger than I was 2.5 months ago. I used to have to carry my littlest kids down the stairs one at a time, now I can carry both of them at the same time. I know that sounds little, but it was big to me. You should have seen my 2 year old's face when I lifted him and his brother, he looked at me like I was a super hero That is what it's all about0
