hello everyone and thanks all of all the advice given on the site....awesome...
I have a question...I have been with this site since January this year and had lost 45 pounds. Now I am on a plateau,,,,but with a different question...My BMR is at 1289 and the recommended daily is 1200. Would the numbers being so close make it harder to lose weight???
I am 43 yearsold. 5'4 now my weight is 143 and I want to be at 130. Does anyone have any ideas on this...sorry to ask but I has not lost any weight in about 3 weeks now...just would like to know if there are any adjustments that I can make to help body losr the rest of the weight??? thanks you all for your time and advice....

one of the biggest reasons people hit that nasty "P" word is because 1. eating the same foods, 2 same work out and not changing it up.. try some different foods change your works outs and up it a little its now said that 30 mins every day maintains and actually you should do 60 to 90 mins at least 5 times a week to lose it!! good luck.... Also I do that big time i wont lose anything for weeks then over nite it seems drop 8 pounds..water weight bowel movemts pms is a chicks number one enemy.0

With your numbers, 1200 is too low. You can't really be at a normal body fat % and be trying for over 1 lb a week, it's just a very tall order. It's gonna take longer now that you have lost all that weight. here, read this, I put this plateau buster together after going through a few plateaus myself.
