When you're finished cooking the eggs, cook bacon in the same pan without draining. When you're finished with the bacon, toast your bread in the same pan.

    All that yummy, fatty goodness!!!

    Edit to add: Even better!!!

Cut a hole in the middle of the slice of bread, 1-2" diameter, place bread on hot, buttered pan, crack and drain egg into hole in bread. Add bacon.

    Best breakfast I've ever had!

I have done this, minus the bacon (which sounds yummy) and it is amazing!! I call it "egg in a basket" lol..

My grandma used to do the hole in bread with egg thing for me when I was little and she called it a bird's nest.

We just got two dozen eggs, fresh this morning, from a friend with chickens. I know what's for dinner. (So it'll screw up my fat macro. I don't care!)

New favorite way to make eggs:

Use a small cup or oven safe dish (ramekin, etc), spray with pam or whatever.
Crack egg into the dish and top with about a 1/2 tablespoon of milk.
Cook at 330-340 degrees for about 12 minutes.
Top with pepper and garlic salt. Enjoy with buttered toast points.

bacon grease is the only other way

QFT....plus, the eggs soak up all the grease, which makes clean-up a breeze! No more scrambling (har) to find a can to pour the bacon grease into!

My grandma used to do the hole in bread with egg thing for me when I was little and she called it a bird's nest.

That used to be my favorite way to have eggs! Little eggie in a basket.
