Consistent workout yes, clean eating, never! I eat foods I enjoy every day. Just look at my log and you'll see plenty of bacon, ice cream, and cookies. So long as you hit adequate amounts of protein and fats, and keep calories in check, you don't have to eat clean. In fact giving up on the ideas that types of foods matter and clean eating makes a difference was probably the biggest catalyst of my success. You need a diet you can stick to not just for a week or a few months. I can't go an entire lifetime never having things I enjoy so I found a way to have them everyday and still be healthy. That is how real change is actualized.
I hope that works for me too, as I could never totally give up the tasty stuff like chocolate, ice cream, burgers...all in moderation. The tracking tool for the food has been SO helpful in making me aware of how many calories are going in and really help with the weight loss.2 -
You guys are all terrific and well done on great stories - long may it continue.

This is me! I've lost some weight and a lot of boobs (not a lot to work with at the start anyway..)
I like saying that I'm a constant work in progress; because I am. This has been a really good and informative journey for me so far, and it will remain to be until I expire.
I'm 5 kg away from my goal weight, and I've just begun some strength/weight training to firm up a bit more.16 -

I'm also 6'1. I have abnormally large legs, calves, and glutes though. Most people my height do need to get a fair bit lighter then me to get lean.

Thank you my ink looks better now then it did before I don't have a ton of lose skin so I'm sure that people will react differently depending on their skin and what their tattoos are! For the most part I think it would be fine. How much do you have to lose?0 -
I started to work on my weight loss February 2013 - the pic on left is me at our daughter's wedding in August 2012 (weighing 348lbs), pic on right is this past January 2014 (weighing 276). I've lost another 15lbs since January and really need to update this pic - - 87lbs gone!!
