40/30/30 plan

I am trying to work my days out to be 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. Is anyone else doing this and how much attention do you pay to sugar grams? If I add any fruit it throws my sugar grams over.

  • I have no idea...I am going to try "clean eating" as little sodium as possible! NO SODA, no juice, coffee and water (and maybe some dandelion root tea)
    Back to weight watchers and diet dessert only! No more of these cookies (which I am throwing out)

    I do 40/30/30- I set my preferences to it for my calories instead of MFP automatic. I also don't worry about going over on sugar because, as you noticed, it happens with fruit and frankly I'm not going to scale back on the good, natural sugars wrapped in fiber. It would be something else altogether if it were added sugars but I wouldn't worry about fruit personally unless you are concerned about fructose intake.
