Advice on readjusting morning intake?

So, I have a job that usually requires that I get up pretty early in the morning (I probably wake up at 3am most often, but it can be as early as midnight, or as "late" as 5am). I used to eat barely anything for breakfast because I simply wasn't hungry that early - like, one yogurt cup and some tea that I usually didn't have time to finish (the tea, not the yogurt). Now that I'm restricting my calories (for reference, my goal is 1400 kcal/day, I currently weight about 203 lbs, I'm 5' 4.5"), I wake up MUCH hungrier, but I'm so used to eating a small breakfast that I'm struggling to find something filling that is also fairly quick and easy (and quiet, so I don't wake my boyfriend) and not also just CARBS CARBS EVERYWHERE. (I have nothing against carbs, but I'm trying to eat a higher protein diet and at my calorie goal, a high-carb meal basically uses all my carb allotment for the day.) I've been doing some home-made oatmeal that I make a 4-serving batch of in advance, but that's often a little high-carb for some days (steel-cut oats, decent fiber/sugar/protein ratio for a grain).
Does anyone have advice/stories about how they've dealt with similar increased hunger in the morning?

I like to make scrambled eggs. I make them before work while my daughter is sleeping and then eat them when i get to work.
I also put a little cheese and salsa on it. It fills me up for a long time.0 -
Carbs are my friend and I eat high protein but that's your personal choice. I enjoy having the energy. As far as high protein, low carb options for breakfast, I like Greek yogurt a bunch. I normally put fruit and peanut butter in mine though, too.0

I just like to scatter my carbs throughout the day is all. I'm attempting a 40/30/30 carb/protein/fat, so not exactly drastic. When classes are out for the semester in a few weeks I'll have the time to up my exercise and thus my calorie intake, and thus, more carbs.
I do eat Greek yogurt, I'm just looking for options, and also it's partially psychological - I'm SO used to eating very little in the morning that anything that is actually going to be satisfying now looks/feels like "too much".0 -
I buy these Flax Lavash breads (I think they're from some company called "Joe's" but don't quote me on that) that come in a pack, look like square "wraps" and are very low carb/high fiber/low calorie with some protein. They're GREAT! You can make just about anything with them, wrap it up, and then eat some of it and foil up the rest to take with you if you can't eat it all in one sitting. I agree that eating a lot in the morning is NOT something I enjoy either! Super-nauseating IMHO. But it IS good for you, so kudos for trying!
I love the above poster's egg idea. If you use the lavash breads, you can make an egg/veggie/meat or meat substitute wrap and don't have to worry about eating it all in one sitting. Plus, it gives you variety because you can change the fillings every day if you want. That way, you can pick on it as you get hungry and still keep carbs low.
That being said, they also do say that if you are going to have carbs, to do it earlier in the day because you will burn them off. Just a suggestion because you mention that you do still eat carbs, you don't need to blow the whole day in the morning, but throwing the majority in there isn't necessarily a bad thing either. It depends on you I always say-you know your body best!0
