So it's been about 2 weeks since I have exercised and I can't seem to get up the will power to start back. At first it was because I got sick for about a week....then the Holidays struck and I was (yes the excuse) to busy. So does anyone have any tricks or tips to get myself back on the wagon beside just do it LOL! Before this I was pretty addicted to getting in a few good long walks a week.
Thanks MFP buddies!!

Schedule it in like it's a doctor's appointment or some important meeting0

I try to get it done first thing in the morning. I have to lecture myself quite often! I remind myself that I exercise in order to EAT! That usually does it for me! No exercise - way too limited on food.0

If you are a "resolution" type gal, make it your New Year's resolution. Commit to 2x to 3x per week for 30 min each session. You can do it.. you have already shown that. Do it so you can continue to see that ticker move in the right direction.0

Well, you know your are not alone in this dilemma. I, too, was lacking motivation...for a long time! Now, with the new year, I've decided to use the people who I normally think were/are sabateurs to motivate me. I'm very competitive. Competition is all I need. I've decided to iniate a "Biggest Loser" competition at work. That has helped me in the past. Hopefully I won't backslide after the competition is over...0

I have that problem too as well, but I'm getting a support system ready to encourage me.0

I'm so happy....I just did 30 mins on my treadmill and it felt great. I figured out what I need to do...I have to find things to zone out on....I was listening to my Ipod and playing solitaire at the same time and before I knew it 20 mins had passed. I was so happy I did 10 more mins. Thanks for the support!!0
