I work in an office and we're business casual to very casual (hoodies and jeans). The perks of a small office? haha

    I'm a teacher.

Professional dress. No jeans (except on Fridays,) no flip flops. No spaghetti straps (duh.) No tattoos showing.

I'm also a teacher. We try (and often fail) to look more stylish and professional than our 16-18 year-old students. ("Sixth Formers" in UK edu-speak.) Students younger than that wear a uniform... perhaps that's what the OP meant by school dress code? (In the UK, 'school' normally means 'high-school' rather than university/college.)

    Have a look: http://www.rgs.newcastle.sch.uk/Dress-Code

Business casual. One company I worked for had a 4 word dress code.

And I quote - "Clothing must be worn."

I am very happy we do not have one but you still need to use your common sense as to what not to wear to work, can't turn up in hot pants and a tank top

Business casual, but we can wear jeans most days if we want. I hide in my office 93% of the time so I don't have much contact with customers.
