You can add me as friend and I can lurk and Like your posts when you log something. Some people gets more motivation when they are watched/cheered up. Also don't be shy to ask any questions if you need help. We are, mostly, helpful community here at forums. That's about as much help I can imagine you can get here, in the end it's your weight loss and you need to count cals and watch what you ate yourself, we can't do it for you.

Will you also be encouraging her to not eat ?
I can give some advice for calorie counting or how to stop binging like a pig like I used to. Ya know, what worked for me to become healthy. I do not support starving tho or just "not eating". And I assumed she had no eating disorders. But if she does I guess anything I would say can be interpreted in her own way even if it's not meant like that. I guess you are right, it's rather complicated thing to give advice without knowing what kind of person is receiving them and what she is making out of them.

I would guess that English is not the OPs first language, so I don't expect there is anything sinister in the "prevent" wording. I've sent a friend request too.

english is not my native language but why is so bad to use the word prevent? it means keep (something) from happening.:glasses:
like me from eating too much by saying a word obviously(hello?!?!?!?):embarassed:
To the girl who mentioned the op/ed blabla bla cant remember : 'dude relax!i asked people to say something, anything that would help me..you didnt!and its not necessary to reply you can send im to sb else"
    thank youuu:flowerforyou:
  • Dipping into the Success Stories threads, and having a supportive group of MPF friends will be big support on your journey. Remember it is a lifestyle change, not a diet. For long term success you have to buy into this concept otherwise you will be on a depressing yo-yo trip. Good luck.
